Migration: The role of National Institutions


Santa Cruz, Bolivia, 23-27 October 2006

At its 17th session in April 2006, the International Coordinating Committee (ICC) agreed that the 8th International Conference of National Human Rights Institutions will be on “Migration: The role of National Institutions.” The International Conference was hosted by the Defensoría del Pueblo de Bolivia and held in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, from 24 to 26 October 2006. The International Conference was preceded by a forum of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
